CHAO DOWN ON THIS GLORIOUS WEB PAGE (i am so sorry):
The latest version of The Chao Stadium and Sonic the Hedgeghog Site, dated to some time in 2008, can be found here. This is the first time it has ever been online. The information therein varies wildly in quality and accuracy, ranging from basically correct (if poorly written) all the way to absurdly specific playground-rumor nonsense. The visual design is absolutely atrocious in the most endearing possible way. The site was designed with lower resolution 4:3 displays in mind, so if you want the content less offset to the left, you should zoom in on your browser.
A TREATISE ON WEBSITE FUNCTIONALITY:
Do note that some (read: many) sidebar links may be nonfunctional as not every page on the site was actually created. There was, in fact, a real forum that briefly had a few people on it but as the domain is now owned by someone SUPER sketchy we have manually set every forum link to redirect to the site's home page. Outside this, broken HTML has been fixed where noticed and images missing from my backup of the project (such as the banner logos) have been tracked down in my archives and restored. The vast majority of the site should operate exactly as it did if you were browsing the files on my old Windows XP machine in 2008, for worse or for worse.
THINGS TO SEE (YOU CAN'T UNSEE):
A major area of note and the only content in the Comics/Stories area is a complete archive of Sonic, Tails and Knuckles Adventures, a delightful 2007-era relic of the days of MS Paint sprite comics. I was the older half of the dynamic sibling duo responsible for giving it life and we were 7 and 11 years old at the time. STKA is at least a quarter as ambitious as it is incoherent.
A BRIEF NOTE ON THINGS THAT DO NOT EXIST:
None of the pages in the Sonic section were ever created, so you can ignore those. There is a single sprite sheet in the Sprites section, which existed on an orphan page we have now redirected to from Fan Character Sprites. This is a character (read: recolor) featured on STKA.
